Responsibilities/Duties + Develops, promotes and delivers effective and innovative instructional services to students, faculty and the BCCC community. + Collaborates with faculty to integrate information literacy into curriculum. + Designs, schedules and conducts reference and instructional activities for the Library. + Promotes the use of the library's online assets (LibGuides, databases, Ebooks, LibAnswers) + Develops and maintains LibGuides. + Promotes information literacy initiatives through presentations to students and faculty. + Analyze and adjust reference and instructional activities to better meet the needs of the students. + Compiles, analyzes and reports statistics for the reference and instructional program. + Participates in the collection development and recommends materials and resources. + Participates on College and departmental committees. Required Qualifications + MLS from an ALA accredited institution. + Knowledge of LibGuides, LibAnswers, Basic HTML, digital media, and Web 2.0 technologies. + Knowledge of Learning Management System (presently Canvas). + Experience in planning and providing library instruction. + Knowledge of best practices in information literacy efforts and programs + Effective communication and presentation skills. + Ability to work proactively with faculty and commitment to team
