The internship position may be a full-time or part-time position depending on the requirements of the local design studio, and the student’s degree program. This position requires student candidates that possess a strong desire to learn about and to progress through the interior design profession.

Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Intern Interior Design, we'll count on you to:

Offer real-world experience on exciting projectsPerform assignments under the direct supervision of an Architect, Project Manager, or other professionalsParticipate in the architectural design process, and develop alternative solutions and presentation graphics used to communicate concepts to client or for agency approvalFollow through on design development drawings and models, and collaborate with production staff for technical details and completion of construction drawingsPerform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

A student enrolled in a CIDA accredited Interior Design or Interior Architecture university program.Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp/ Rhino (or similar), and Microsoft Office required.Having the ability to take direction from others and maintain a positive attitude is paramount, along with being a self-starter and team player.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0 GPA
