Description/Job Summary SCHEDULE: + Monday-Wednesday-Friday + 12pm-4pm MISSION: The external and internal appearance of a building reflects on the occupants. It is important for a custodian, or janitor, to be careful and thorough in cleaning and tidying the premises. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building upkeep. A keen eye for detail and diligence are imperative in custodial maintenance jobs. RESPONSIBILITES: + Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces + Sweep / mop floors and vacuum carpets + Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and restock disposables (e.g. soap) + Detailing Bathrooms and Office spaces + Wipe mirrors and windows SKILLS: + Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role + Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances + Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components + Very good physical condition and strength + Ability to stand for the duration of shift + Ability to walk between buildings, and stairs for cleaning High school diploma is preferred but not required Job Type: Part-time Salary: $17.50 per hour Benefits: + 401(k) + Dental insurance + Health insurance + Life insurance + Paid time off + Vision insurance Schedule: + 4 hour shift + Afternoon shift Shift availability: + Day Shift (Preferred) + + work Location: In person
