Job Title: Janitor/Janitorial Team Member Reports to: Site and Assistant Site Managers FLSA: Non-Exempt/ Hourly ____________________________________________________________________________ SUMMARY: Responsible for the overall cleaning, sanitation and maintenance of the facilities through debris removal, and keeping areas clean, dirt and dust free. $13/Hour - Full and Part Time work available. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES: Includes, but not limited to, the following. + Ensure safety by using correct safety postings and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when needed. + Clean restrooms, (empty trash receptacles, fill dispensers, sweep, mop floors, clean glass, sinks and toilets). + Dust mop. + Detail restrooms. + Clean vents and fixtures in restrooms. + Dust and clean entrance door thresholds, frames and edging. + Perform other similar and related duties as assigned by the Team Leader. Requirements EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma, General Education Degree (GED) or equivalency preferred not required; one (1) to three (3) months related experience preferred and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English and Spanish. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common understanding to carry out uninvolved written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
