A financial firm is looking for a Java Developer to join their team in New York, NY.

Compensation: $150-200k

Role:

Provide key support as a developer within an agile team, interacting directly with the front office and contributing to the UI development process Develop UI solutions using Java, Python, and associated web technologies Provide strong technical design and enhancements to the platform Use HTML5, Angular2, JavaScript other web UI technologies as required Provide unit test coverage Provide solutions within a DevOps environment, championing automation of deployment and testing phases Select and use appropriate tools and design schemata to enhance current software offering in a way that is consistent with project goals and company branding Mentorship of junior programmers where appropriate

Profile:

Bachelor’s Degree in CS, IT, MIS or comparable 4 years’ experience delivering UI solutions in an enterprise environment Strong knowledge of HTML5, Angular2, JavaScript, CSS3, and RESTful interactions 4 years’ experience interacting with database technologies, ideally using Oracle 4 years experience working in Agile 4 years’ experience developing systems in a trading, banking or high-speed finance environment Experience with JIRA and Atlassian suite is a strong advantage 21-33265
