Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector (NGDS) is seeking an Intelligence System Administrator to join our Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) Mission Training Complex (MTC) team on-base in Washington state.

This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and customer approval.

Responsibilities:

Manages and maintains all Intelligence Simulations Systems for the JBLM MTC

Leverages comprehensive knowledge, understanding, and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts of intelligence simulation systems

Works independently the majority of the time with general or no direction

Develops approaches to solutions and independently makes decisions that do not result in serious program delays or considerable expenditure of resources

Fields daily inter-organizational and outside customer contacts and represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects

Operates and maintains the Intelligence Fusion Servers for the JBLM MTC

Operates the WARSIM Intelligence Module Lower and Upper Enclaves to include the Tactical Communications Support Processor and Radiant Mercury

Serves as the System Administrator for various computer systems

Operates the Virtual UAS and Multiple Unified Simulation Environment (MUSE) simulation systems

Possesses a working knowledge of Army Mission Command Information Systems and integrates all intelligence warfighting function simulations with the Intelligence Fusion Server which serves as the primary interface between echelon DCGS-A sub-systems, external IFS, and other Army mission command information systems

Provides expertise in the development, execution, and assessment of tailored and dynamic simulation stimulated training scenarios and preparatory events

Basic Qualifications:

One of the following:

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Cybersecurity and/or Information Assurance (IA), or related experience

Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity and/or IA with a minimum of 2 years of related technical experience

Master’s degree in CS, IT, Cybersecurity and/or IA

Active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Special Background Investigation

IAT Level II Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE)

Experience as an IFS Field Software Engineer  

Must be able to work on-site at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington

Must be able to travel to CONUS locations as required (up to 25% of the time)

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a System Administrator

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Military Intelligence/Targeting operations at the brigade, division, or corps level

Experience operating intelligence simulation systems to include WIM, MUSE, IEWTPT, and Virtual UAS

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Networking

Salary Range: $81,300.00 - $121,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
