Openings on 2nd or 3rd shift

2nd shift: Monday - Friday 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM + $1.10 shift differential3rd shift: Sunday - Thursday 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM + $1.00 shift differential

VACATION CREDIT: Your years of service as a Journeyperson, upon verification, will count towards vacation accrual.

The Journeyman Electrician performs all types of electrical work required to keep the plant running at a maximum efficiency. The Electrician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Duties:

Demonstrates a commitment to working safely in all areas of the millWorks with or assists other trades, engineering, production and other technical resources (internal and external to Masonite) to minimize down time and optimize the mill efficiencyWorking with Preventive Maintenance Programs to submit work ordersWork with the Planner/Scheduler to estimate and order partsCommunicate to production personnel about equipment problems that require repairs, down time estimates or corrective actionsWork safely in a mill environment and use PPE/Safe work practicesBe able to troubleshoot, identify failed components, repair and calibrate electrical process equipmentPreform preventative maintenance functions in order to improve and maintain machine performanceDocument modifications and repairs made to equipment.Must be able to work in a team environment

Qualifications/Skills

Must have State of Wisconsin Journeyman Electrician accreditationDependable and responsiblePositive work attitudeGood communication skillsWorking knowledge of electrical testing equipment and toolsFamiliar with NEC, NFPA-70E and safe work practicesAbility to read, interpret and update electrical prints/documentsExcellent trouble shooting skillsMechanical conceptsPLC systems Examples: Rockwell software-RS Logics 5000/500/5, RS Links, Drive executive or comparable experience
