Job Title:  Journeyman Plumber (ECM)

Job Summary:   ECM Holding Company has an opportunity for a Journeyman Plumber in California. Journeyman Plumbers are responsible for the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of plumbing fixtures for drainage and water systems. This position might require travel up to 90% of the
time on projects that can last up to 2 weeks or longer.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair broken pipes, and clogged drains  Remove old plumbing fixtures to install new low flow fixtures. Utilize hand tools in fitting of valves, couplings and components for tanks, pumps or other plumbing system Dig trenches/install pipes and piping fixtures for water, irrigation, or sewage systems Mount hangers and brackets on walls to provide support for pipes Ensure compliance with building codes and set safety standards Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes to required angles using measurement tools  Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and initiate repairs  Liaise with contractors , and other construction workers to ensure an effective plumbing system.

 

Qualifications: 

High school diploma or GED certificate Completion of a vocational school certificate program, associate degree, or apprenticeship Must have Valid California state plumbing license Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience  Able to read technical designs and blueprints  Proficient with plumbing tools, materials, and equipment  Expert knowledge in piping  fitting.

Compensation Range:   30/hr to 40/hr
