Junior Engineer - Position Description

ICI Services is looking for motivated individuals to join our team in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme, Port Hueneme, CA. We are a small, employee-owned defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Services, and Technical Services to government clients in 14 states and the District of Columbia. We need Junior Engineers ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment. 

 Security Clearance:

Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities:

Execute the testing and analysis of technological upgrades. Monitor and enforce standards to ensure that the assigned work force is properly trained and equipped. Supervise assigned personnel in a single functionality, project, or process. Execute the analysis and comparison of design or redesign alternatives. Support the development, acquisition, fabrication, testing and analysis of prototype units for potential replacements. As appropriate, support modeling and simulation development of components, assist in the design, development, modeling, and simulation for prototypes and engineering design models (EDMs), develop and run models and simulations, and interpret the results. Support engineering analyses and technical assessments

Experience Requirements:

0-3 years of experience Experience with US Navy, coast Guard or Military Sealift Command Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) a definite plus

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering Field is preferred. Additional Experience may be allowed to substitute for a degree.
