Role: Junior QA Consultant 

Location: Serbia (Remote, with office access in Belgrade)

Role description:

To be successful as Junior QA Consultant, you should have working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyse the results. Ultimately, the Software Tester should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design. The QA will be passionate about delivering exceptional, user-friendly software, and have a drive to innovate and continuously improve testing methodologies.

Role accountabilities:

In this role, you'll take charge of ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your responsibilities encompass a comprehensive range of tasks, including analysing software requirements, crafting test scenarios, and executing tests to evaluate functionality, performance, and usability. You'll meticulously analyse test results, identifying errors, bugs, and opportunities for improvement. Your role extends to preparing detailed reports on testing outcomes and collaborating closely with both the design team and clients to understand requirements and provide valuable input. Additionally, you'll actively participate in pre-planning activities, sprint planning sessions, and testing within sprints, contributing your expertise to enhance the testing process and product quality.

Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate possesses a degree in computing, mathematics, or a related field, coupled with extensive commercial testing experience in Agile environments. Professional qualifications such as ISEB Software Testing are a must, reflecting a commitment to excellence. They are passionate about delivering software and market-leading products, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on both short-term tasks and long-term solutions. Proficiency in measuring and reporting test coverage, utilising testing tools, configuring test environments, and executing automated checks is essential. They thrive in collaborative environments, clarifying requirements and suggesting improvements while continuously enhancing their testing skills and knowledge.

Must Have:

<2 Years’ Experience in Technology with a core focus on Software Testing Some Agile Product Testing and SDLC experience Experience with Java, Selenium & Cucumber  Experience with testing tools  Experience with Agile Toolsets (JIRA or Azure DevOps) Proficient in Automated Testing
