The Customer Solutions for Industries (CS4I) is looking to hire Technical Junior Consultants to perform software design, development and testing.

You will be part of a Global Delivery Center based out of Oporto and servicing all the Industry’s needs.

Focus on Retail our organization helps customers to implement and adopt the Oracle Retail Software to manage the core Retail operations.

 

What you will do

As a member of the CS4I organization, your focus is to deliver solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs.   Contribute as a team member in projects building successful customer relationships Develop software (product extensions, Integration and Data migration) according to the analysis and design documents, with high quality and high customer satisfaction Act as a developer/consultant in the delivery of Oracle solutions on behalf of our client base Participate in the software test phase, checking it’s quality against the specific test cases Analyze and propose solutions, together with colleagues, to achieve the best technical solutions Support and, where necessary, drive technology adoption by clients Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services Consult with clients to understand their business requirements and map them to Oracle Industries Solution

Technical expertise in more than one area (Oracle Database, PL/SQL, APEX, Java, Javascript, React/Preact) is preferable Experience in Unix, Shell Script, and version control systems (GIT) is highly preferable An understanding of CI/CD is expected High level of energy, drive, enthusiasm, commitment, self-belief, and achievement-orientation Willingness to join a dynamic and multinational team Self-driven personality with analytical and problem-solving skills Interest in technology and strong communication skills Knowledge of Oracle products or previous experience in the IT or Retail industry will be useful though not essential Fluent English Available to work in a flex mode
