KCA Postdoctoral Fellow Job

Passionate about precision medicine and advancing the healthcare industry?

Recent advancements in underlying technology have finally made it possible for AI to impact clinical care in a meaningful way. Tempus' proprietary platform connects an entire ecosystem of real-world evidence to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians, providing critical information about the right treatments for the right patients, at the right time.

We are looking for an exceptional postdoctoral fellow to study and advance precision oncology in kidney cancer using one of the world’s largest clinicogenomic databases. The successful candidate will apply computational methods to real-world patient data, comprising genomic, transcriptomic, histopathological, and/or clinical data, to improve our understanding of kidney cancer and advance the application of precision medicine to improve patient outcomes. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and collaborative computational biology group, and develop independent research projects tackling challenging problems in genomic-guided medicine.

Tempus, in partnership with the Kidney Cancer Association (KCA), created the KCA Postdoctoral Fellowship to encourage and further the careers of postdoctoral fellows who are conducting cutting-edge clinical and genomic cancer research. Embedded within Tempus as an onsite researcher, the postdoctoral fellow will have direct access to over 200k de-identified samples with genomic and clinical data, a large organoid repository with genomic and pharmacological screening data, a huge computational environment, and mentorship and collaboration from clinicians, molecular biologists, and data scientists.
