Taylor Animal Hospital is looking to add some experienced talent into our growing Team! We are a 4-doctor practice that offers Medical and Surgical treatment as well as Boarding, and Grooming.  We have been serving the community since 1989 and have recently added exotics to our practice.

The ideal TAH Kennel Attendant:

2-3 years working with small animals or in a Kennel / Boarding environment. Experience is a bonus. Knowledge of how to medicate, feed, water and exercise pets Be proactive with kennel cleanliness – washing and drying of bedding, washing bowels and food dishes, yard cleanup. Animal Care and behavior. Kindness, being observant and present. Be observant of animal behavior and get any illness or issues to the attention of the veterinarian.  Be able to communicate with the pet owners upon arrival and departure about their pet’s needs.  Documentation on forms and in the database with full, detailed and accurate instructions. 

Wage and Extras:

Based on the candidates knowledge and experience in the veterinary field TAH rate of hourly pay ranges from $12 to $15 an hour. Responsibilities; Cares for pets in an animal hospital facility, feeds and waters animals according to schedules. Controls and restrains animals as required. Cleans, disinfects cages, pens, yards; sanitizes animal rooms, hallways, and ancillary equipment. Transfers animals between quarters. Exercises animals. 1 Year applicable prior work experience required.
