Key Account Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated, analytically strong team player who is eager to bring his / her knowledge about the FMCG related Swiss Retail landscape, negotiations, commercial decision making and overall business acumen into our high caliber Customer Management (CM) department. The CM Team comprises our Key Account Managers (KAMs) and is BAT’s primary interface towards all Swiss Retail Customers operating in every decisive sales channel (e.g. Kiosk, Convenience, Grocery, Petrol).

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES COVER THE FOLLOWING:

Leverage BAT’s position within the assigned portfolio of accounts in order to successfully implement the overall Customer Management Strategy that will drive market share growth, volume growth and profitability of the different nicotine categories. Main accountabilities

Continuously seek and develop existing business opportunities within defined portfolio of strategic accountsContinuously monitor sales performanceDrive profitability and BAT share within assigned accountsDrive multi-category approach within assigned accountsDevelop new business opportunities with customer’s CRM and AppDrive customer engagementConduct promotional and sales planning per brands and customersDrive various strategic projects to bring new business opportunities to life and challenge status quo

ABOUT YOU:

Essential requirements

Bachelors or Master’s degree, preferably business or economicsMinimum 2 years experience in FMCG sales and trade marketing positionsFluent in German & English + Professional working proficiency in FrenchDrives and owns results, seeking challengesFirst class analytical, interpersonal, communication (oral & written), negotiation and planning/forecasting skillsProven ability to successfully negotiate; strong communication, influencing and presentations skillsProven strong self-management capabilitiesGood ability to analyze situations, recommend solutions and action plans within organizational policyAttention to detail and great team playerStrong Excel and PowerPoint skills

Desirable requirements

Knowledge of softwares “Tableau” and “SalesForce” is a plusBachelors or Master’s degree, preferably marketing or economicsFluent in English and French, German is a plusStrong, proven people leadership and stakeholder management capabilitiesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage/co-operate in cross-functional teamsConstantly raise the bar and present “can do” attitudeExcel and PowerPoint skillsOpen-minded, bold, resilient and very well organizedCreative and innovative2+ years working experience
