Nordic Key Account Manager for CooperVision
On behalf of CooperVision, we are looking for a Key Account Manager, who is passionate about sales, category growth, analytics, driving sales excellence and who thrives in a collaborative environment! In this role you will thus be responsible for development and implementation of customer specific business plans across both key and national accounts, and for the sales and profitability of a significant part of Nordic revenue, serving as the primary customer contact and providing customer leadership.

The position
As a KAM you will lead one or more strategic/national accounts in the Nordic, providing strong joint business plans and developing the category with the customers. You will negotiate contracts and work in close collaboration with marketing to implement category programs and seek to deliver innovative solutions to drive sales forward. You will drive your customers and engage the field team to support you in delivering excellent results and follow up on activations to evaluate ROI. You will take part in a diverse and dynamic team of key account managers working closely together and sharing ideas and thoughts on how to maximize sales.

More specifically, your primary tasks and areas of responsibility include:
- Deliver on customer budgets and develop correctional actions as needed
- Grow market share within assigned accounts
- Build robust joint business plans with assigned customers
- Drive follow-through and evaluation of ROI on plans and activations
- Secure commitment from Field team to deliver on customer plans, and deliver strong plans for commercial meetings
- Be the “Voice of the customer” in CooperVision
- Solve customer issues in collaboration with cross functional teams.
- Responsible for providing monthly feedback on customer performance and participate in S&OP process improving accuracy and planning
- Support Sales Management with performance reports and drive ongoing commercial developments.
- Provide a strategic 3-year plan for the assigned customers – clearly showing category growth and drivers
- Deliver on Myopia management agenda for assigned customers
- Enthusiastic, engaged, and supportive of all CooperVision initiatives

In the KAM position you will report directly to the Nordic Head of Sales, Thomas Weitze. There is a great degree of flexibility in the role, which location-wise can either be performed from the regional office in Gothenburg or from home. However you should expect to spend some time in Gothenburg especially in the beginning. The job will also involve travel on project-basis.

Your profile
The ideal candidate for the KAM position at CooperVision is dynamic and enjoys working cross functionally in an international environment with both strategic challenges as well as attending team and regional meetings to build understanding of KAM & Category. We imagine that you possess a passion for delivering results and an analytical, and logical thinking processes, combined with solid business acumen that allows you to translate customer feedback into winning propositions. 

In order to succeed in the position, we expect that you fulfill the following criteria:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a key/national account manager with full ownership of top 3 customers
- Experience within brand development and/or commercial roles of similar scope e.g. Category Planning
- Strong business acumen / ability to translate information into strong commercial propositions
- Experience in negotiating commercial contracts and have understanding of the legal parts
- Strong presentation skills
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Skilled in stakeholder management
- Sense of urgency
- Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Great communication presentations skills; both verbally and written (English required, other Nordic languages are an advantage)
