S4 Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Lab\/Equipment Manager to join the forefront of national defense technology at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), Electromagnetic (EM) Effects Division. We're seeking talented individuals to support critical projects ensuring the operational capability of military forces and platforms. As part of our team, you'll provide technical and engineering support, risk analysis, and integrated logistics for a range of initiatives, from legacy systems to emerging technologies.\n

Responsibilities:\n\nManage laboratory or warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and equipment.\nVerify incoming materials or equipment against receiving documents, documenting and reporting discrepancies and damages.\nRoute materials to prescribed storage locations, adhering to prescribed storage methods.\nConduct inventory management, including storing, stacking, palletizing, and rearranging stored materials.\nMonitor stored materials for deterioration and damage, reporting as necessary.\nPrepare materials for shipment, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols.\nSupport Program Managers and System Managers in developing and reviewing logistics procurement and management processes.\nCoordinate life cycle logistics, including disposition, sustainment, and procurement of material such as support equipment, test equipment, safety equipment, packaging, storage, and transportation.\nInterface with representatives from external organizations as needed.\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nSix (6) years of experience in laboratory or warehouse management environment.\nDemonstrated experience in at least three of the following areas: verifying incoming materials, documenting discrepancies, routing materials, inventory management, examining stored materials, preparing materials for shipment.\nExperience in supporting logistics procurement and management processes, including life cycle logistics, sustainment, and procurement.\nAbility to interface effectively with external organization representatives.\nSecret Clearance required.\n\n
