Job Description:

Responsible for supervising the activities including planning, coordinating, scheduling, disciplining, evaluating and monitoring within the assigned area.Supervises staff to ensure the smooth flow of operations and compliance with hospital and department policies, procedures, and other regulatory agencies.Provides technical guidance and assistance to the staff.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related science field is required.Certified in clinical laboratory science by recognized certifying agencies.Must have at least 1 year experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in the designated discipline and be qualified under CLIA regulations to function as a General or Technical Supervisor.General supervisory experience is preferred.Membership in a professional organization is highly desirable but not mandatory.
