Share Job Apply Now Share Job Job Description David Weekley Homes is seeking a Land Acquisition Manager to join our Jacksonville team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in residential land acquisitions, analysis, development or brokerage experience in the Jacksonville area. Job Responsibilities: + Work interactively with Area & Division Presidents and Vice President of Land to assess the feasibility of potential land purchases. + Manage entitlement and site selection, due diligence review, underwriting, and approvals for proposed new land acquisitions. + Network with developers, brokers, landowners, and other builders to determine new land opportunities for DWH. + Maintain a high level of visibility in the home building business, actively participating in the community, civic and business organizations pertinent to the industry. + Manage and oversee the development of active projects from acquisition to lot delivery (100% owned projects). + Visit each newly presented opportunity and evaluate how this opportunity fits with DWH business plan. + Some travel is required.
