We are actively seeking a Land Development Staff Professional I to join our dedicated group of professionals in State College, PA. As a Staff Professional I, you will work with Project Manager(s), Project Engineer(s) and other Staff Professional(s) to successfully complete Land Development engineering design projects within a variety of markets. The experience will expose you to the design and permitting process within close working relationships on an HRG project team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Design assistance for portions of projectsPlan preparation - site layout, utility plans, profiles, and site detailsPreparing storm water management, erosion and sedimentation control, and other calculations/reports required for project permits and approvalsResearching code requirements Requirements

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil EngineeringE.I.T. CertificationIntermediate proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, HydroCAD and Hydraflow Storm Sewers (or other similar stormwater modeling programs), and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team/collaborative environmentPrevious experience with a consulting engineering firm. (2+ years experience a plus, preferably with tasks that includes : Preparing drainage, storm water management, erosion & sedimentation control calculations and reports required for project permits and approvals Experience in subdivision and land development planning for due diligence and proposed site designs Ability to travel to job sites, meetings, and regional offices as necessary (Valid driver's license is required)Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
