EFI is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join our Fiery Business Unit in our Fremont, CA office. 

Job Description:

You will be working on Fiery Server our flagship product, delivering modules. You will be working with team members and other teams to enhance the digital printing workflow solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Architecting, designing and implementing modules in print pipeline Optimizing algorithms, identifying and removing performance bottlenecks in the existing system Leading the development of new features Interacting with various stakeholders to define and develop digital print workflow solutions Participating in meetings and performing software demonstrations for the stakeholders.

Job Requirement:

B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering Minimum of 5 years experience in C/C++ Expert in distributed and scalable architectures Experience in designing distributed computing systems Good understanding of OS internals and low level debugging Solid background and experience in system level development in Windows and Linux Experience with high performance server side multi-threaded programming experience Experience with kernel level driver development preferred

Ability to work with other senior engineers in a dynamic and fast paced environment Comfortable working with cross functional teams and in agile software development environment Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills Passion for taking ownership and solving complex problems
