**This is a Hybrid position.  Candidates must be located in Dallas, TX and work a minimum of 3 days in the office.**

As a Lead Tax Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of AT&T federal income taxes and quarterly estimates, including the analysis and interpretation of existing and upcoming federal tax legislation to identify opportunities to minimize the organization's legal tax liabilities.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepares US Federal consolidated return and deconsolidated return and related workpapers by required deadlinesWorks on complex taxation related issues including, but not limited to, CAMT, 163(j) interest expense limitation, etc. where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factorsCoordinates with team members and those in other organizations to gather material data and prepare summaries of income tax concepts including cash tax forecasting for managementConducts research to advise management of the tax implications of activitiesCompletes cross functional projects with other teams within and without the tax organization to drive efficiencies and tax savings

Education: Masters degree in accounting preferred

Experience: 8 years of relevant tax experience and in following areas:

Corporate TaxFinancial AnalysisFinancial and Accounting SystemsFinancial ReportingGeneral LedgerGenerally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Tax ManagementTax OperationsTax RegulationsTax software (e.g., CorpTax)Use of technology tools such as Alteryx, Excel, and Power BI is welcome
