As Technical Program & Account manager in the Grab Tech Governance team, you will be working with dynamic engineering teams and support functions including risk, compliance, legal, finance etc who are on a mission to build Processes, Services and Tools. This role will also manage regional engagements with Grab business partners.

Job Description

Get to know the Role:

8 to 15 years of experience in a Technical Program Management (TPM)/Account Manager role or a similar leadership position within the tech industry.

Experience working with a team focused on building infrastructure, platforms, products, solutions, and technologies for various Grab Partner teams. These products directly impact millions of passengers, drivers, and merchants daily.

Ability to create and maintain delivery work orders(with Partners) for roadmaps in collaboration with respective tech teams and support functions,  and lead all aspects of program delivery.

Skills to define program implementation strategies, continuously streamline the process, and make data-driven decisions on work products.

Adherence to Grab’s culture and principles, fostering an environment embodying Grab's values.

Excelling as the main point of contact, nurturing long-term relationships with Grab Partners, and serving as a trusted advisor to Grab leadership and Partners.

The day-to-day activities:

General project and program management - define and drive project timelines, milestones, track & report progress, resolve impediments.

Quarterly planning and prioritization with Grab Partners.

Ensuring Grab tech teams are delivering product offerings needed by partners as signed in work orders.

Continuously find ways to improve the process between Grab & its partners on Product & program delivery

Facilitate whiteboard sessions to troubleshoot project contracts & implementation details considering legal, risk and compliance areas and remove blockers for the team.

 

Qualifications

The must haves:

Proven experience in Technical Program Management, Business Program, or Account Management.

Solid technical knowledge coupled with a proven track record in delivering solutions based on customer/partner needs.

Strong communication, presentation, and persuasive skills across all organization levels, including executives and C-level.

Capability to handle multiple projects concurrently while ensuring meticulous attention to detail.

Exceptional listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Skills to monitor and analyze service offerings/usage by Grab partners.

Demonstrated experience working with financial institutions or B2B businesses and a deep technical comprehension of the products or solutions being developed. 

Experience in risk management and compliance. Familiarity with the region’s financial, data and IP laws and regulations. 

A commitment to streamlining inefficient processes.

Deep understanding on handling contractual agreements and holding parties accountable.

Experience working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where autonomy and self-decision making is needed (to an extent) and able to juggle between different projects/tasks.

Experience advising on technical solutions whenever needed is advantageous but not essential.
