The Legal Assistant job in Lewiston, Maine is responsible for scheduling, time entry, tracking case deadlines, setting up new matters, organizing files, data tracking, filing, preparing documents, and other tasks as needed. You’ll have a solid understanding of providing support to multiple attorneys within the company's municipal and business practice areas. This is a full-time, day shift position with openings in Corporate transactions and Civil Litigation. 

Legal Assistant Qualifications: 

An Associates Degree, other post-secondary education preferred, and/or paralegal studies Legal support experience in business transaction and District and Federal court litigation: 1 year (Required) Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe or Nuance PDF and experience with ShareFile and Worksite/iManage is preferred.  Applicants must possess excellent attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong legal admin skills required Outlook will be used along with I-Manage, Litigation Software, PDF, TABS, Word, Excel Applicants with federal court litigation with electronic filing in federal and state courts experience is required. 

 Legal Assistant Details: 

Schedule: Full time 8AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday (Each department differs) Pay Rate: Depending on experience - $20/hr - $30+/hr DOE Start Date: ASAP
