ABOUT THE JOB

As a Licensed Engineer at TUI, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet. Reporting to the Duty Engineer, you’ll be part of a highly skilled global team dedicated to operating our aircraft safely, punctually, and in a cost-effective manner. 
Your responsibilities will include:

•    Conducting routine maintenance checks, repairs, and inspections on our aircraft fleet in accordance with regulatory standards and company procedures.
•    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to efficiently resolve technical issues and maintenance tasks.
•    Utilizing your expertise to troubleshoot complex aircraft systems and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and safety.
•    Monitoring and certifying the work of ‘A’ Licensed colleagues.
•    Supporting a performance-oriented approach, focusing on technical dispatch reliability and minimizing deferred defects.
•    Providing away-from-base support as required, including down route rescues and other base support within the TUI group.

 

ABOUT YOU

•    B License engineer holding and able to maintain Part 145 approval on B737NG, B737MAX & B787 with operational maintenance experience.
•    Proven experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably within a commercial airline or aviation maintenance organization.
•    Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to upholding safety standards.
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
•    Ability to hold an Airport Security pass and local Airside driving permits.
