Overview

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care tasks and procedures under the direction of an RN, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, physician, or other authorized health care provider.

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:Graduated an accredited school of Practical NursingPreferred:N/A

License/Certification

Minimum Required:Current New York State Practical Nurse License, a Limited Permit, or ability to practice within the 90 day grace period allowed by New York State guidelinesPreferred:Basic Skills Certifications (CPR)
