Description Assisting new residents in adjusting to unit, philosophy, and goals of Willow Point Nursing Home; + Reporting to Charge Nurse any accident or change of condition of resident and documenting on progress notes in the chart; + Discussing clinical issues regarding resident care with Charge Nurse; + Working as a member of the interdisciplinary team to assist with the preparation, implementation and continuing evaluation of the care plan; + Observing, recording and reporting progress or any change in resident’s condition; + Updating the care plan as needed; + Carrying out therapeutic treatments; + Administering and dispensing medications (with the exception of IV) to residents, observing for side effects and effectiveness; + Securing/accounting for controlled drugs; + Maintaining nursing care and administrative records and reports; + Attending staff meetings and in-service programs.
