Job Description Pinnacle’s promise consists of People, Respect, Ownership, Morale, Integrity, Safety, and Excellence Shift: M-F 5:30p CST- 2:30a CST Duties include but not limited to: + Manage employee communications and expectations + Manage daily evening meeting to set expectations and coordinate among the locations + Plans, schedules, and manages the inbound and outbound Linehaul Operations for the hub. Analyzes mainline and satellite operations to maximize tractor usage and minimize Linehaul costs + Manages Linehaul schedules and plans to maximize capacity, minimize partial trailer loads and ensure service integrity for specific areas + Ensuring that all operational activities are conducted in compliance with federal, state, local, and concerning safety. + Responsible for time management in creating an environment conducive to effectiveness when it comes to employee’s time keeping, adhere to schedule, setting of priorities, and meeting deadlines. + Manages subordinate supervisors and associates in warehouse and Transportation + Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. + Responsibilities include planning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. + Coordinating emergency maintenance repairs such as electrical, tires, or any mechanical issues.
