Linux System Administrator - SME Location:  Onsite in Panama City Beach, FL   ISPA Technology provides rapid capability to the warfighter through software, systems, and cybersecurity solutions to deliver mission superiority. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LINUX System Administrator - Subject Matter Expert to join our team in support of our US Military forces.   The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge managing and securing Linux-based systems and networks, leveraging containerization technologies, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.     Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Linux/Unix operating systems, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), ensuring system security, stability, and performance. Deploy and manage containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift, supporting software modernization and engineering efforts. Ensure system configurations comply with DoD cybersecurity standards, applying DISA STIGs, and conducting security vulnerability assessments and remediations. Engage in DevSecOps processes and tools, using automation technologies like Ansible and Terraform for efficient system management. Collaborate with COTS suppliers (e.g., Red Hat, AWS) to enhance support and maintenance of system updates. Support software engineering and integration tasks, utilizing tools such as Git, Python scripting, and Terraform for infrastructure as code implementations. Provide technical assistance for the integration, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of DoD/Military software systems, including travel to various locations as required.   Requirements: U.S. citizenship and a Department of Defense Security Clearance are required for this position. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with extensive experience in Linux/Unix system administration. (total experience will be considered with other degree levels) Minimum of 5 years of experience with Linux systems, including proficiency in container technologies and automation tools. Certifications: Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), DoD 8570.01M IAT Level II. Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience with DoD/Military cyber directives. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and government officials. Willingness to travel to support system deployments and troubleshooting efforts.     ISPA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
