**Waste Control** **, a Waste Connections company, is hiring a Local Long-Haul Truck Driver to join the team in** **Longview, Washington** **!** This is a long-haul Trucking position involving pulling a 53-foot trailer up and down Headquarters Road and to local Mills. The schedule will be Monday – Friday 6:00am to 4:00pm with Occasional Overtime Starting Rate of pay is $25.84/hr. Such as checking fluids, safety equipment, lights and tire pressure. + Minimum 1+ years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. + Working knowledge of D.O.T. laws + Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. + Ability to work a physically demanding job. + Willingness to submit to and pass background check and pre-employment drug screening test + Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments + Clean driving record. **Working Conditions and Physical Effort:** + Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. + Work environment involves some exposure to physical risks such as moving mechanical parts.
