Job Summary/Description:

KYOU is hiring for the position of Local and Digital Sales Manager to manage the multi-platform marketing sales team that caters to local businesses in Southeastern Iowa and Northeastern Missouri. This team is responsible for meeting & exceeding revenue goals for the station through sales of marketing campaigns and ad placements on various platforms including traditional TV, streaming TV, streaming audio, social media platforms, target display and video, search engines, and more. The goal of this team is to be a one-stop-shop marketing for local businesses by providing marketing strategies, creative production, and placement on the best platforms to reach the right audience. Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

* Has experience leading and managing a team that is performance-based and has experience working on a performance-based team as a top performer
* Has experience in the marketing industry
* Has a strong ability to lead the team in developing new local direct business with an emphasis on digital
* Forward thinker, ability to create and present advertising strategies and ideas for local businesses incorporating television and digital mediums
* Ability to serve as the in-market expert for digital marketing and television media
* Has the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines at one time
* Takes initiative to recognize a need and come up with a solution without being asked
* Can communicate goals and expectations, hold staff accountable for those goals & expectations, and provide resources & guidance to help staff meet goals & expectations
* Make monthly, quarterly, and annual broadcast and digital goals
* Stay organized and help the sales team
* Portray a positive attitude, which coincides with the positive brand reputation of KYOU in the marketplace

Qualifications/Requirements:

* Previous sales management experience
* Has experience in public speaking and/or presenting information to business decision-makers
* Strong leadership skills are a must. Has experience training new hires and training & developing current employees
* Enjoys working on a team and being a resource for team members
* Enjoys working with technology and on computers
* Is proficient in Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
* Is adaptable and willing to try new methods and strategies to help the team accomplish goals
* Candidate must be able to successfully complete the MVR check
