Logistics Analyst

Job Summary: Performs various tasks related to the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of C5ISR systems supportability and\/or maintainability programs and information systems.\n

Education and Experience:\n\nBS or BA degree in a business-related discipline\nAt least four (4) years Logistics Analyst experience, two (2) of which must be within Department of Navy\n\n

Essential Duties:\n\nWorks on logistics and maintainability programs and with logistics and maintenance control organizations on issues such as:\n\ntechnical evaluation and identification of C5ISR systems logistics requirements and resources\ndevelopment of logistics support and maintainability programs or plans\nsystems acquisition requirements analysis\nbudgetary or financial analysis and control\nlife cycle cost analysis and control\nC5ISR systems hardware and software standardization and compatibility\nIntegrated Logistics Support (ILS)\/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program test and evaluation planning and execution\n\n\nILS\/R&M program management analysis.\nCollects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.\nDevelops, modifies, prepares, or validates documentation in relation to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems, and management information systems.\n\n

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n\nKnowledge of Department of Navy\/NAVAIR IT tools\nAbility to work with high level NAVAIR Government Civilians\nAbility to communicate in a clear and timely manner\nDemonstrated skill with Microsoft Office Suite of programs: Word, Excel, Power Point, TEAMs, icaps, Communicator, etc.\nAbility to read and understand, engineering drawings and technical manuals, identify components to subassembly level.\nAbility to generate Allowance Parts List from the technical data provided\nSupport the management of obsolescence\/DMSMS\nAssess system failure rates and implement FRACAS DB\nAssess system reliability, maintainability, and availability\n\n
