Logistics Coordinator Location US-IL-Sauget Category Logistics Overview

Responsible for outbound tank truck shipments, related issues and miscellaneous Logistics support activities.  This individual assists with paperwork required for outbound tank truck shipments, inspection of outbound tank trucks and goods issues of outbound tank trucks.  This position conducts the Sauget lot inventory and will also compile the weekly late shipment report.  This individual also provides vacation relief to the Tank Truck Distribution Coordinator and may also provide support to the WHSE with order processing and inventory.

Responsibilities Inspect outbound tank trucks and complete all shipment paperworkPerform inspections / work outside for short periods of timePull & process tank truck delivery due listReview open SAP ordersCreate & update tank truck schedule in Excel as neededCommunicate with CRS’, Sauget production schedulers, Sauget production supervisors, trucking companies regarding truck schedulingCompile weekly reports utilizing SAP, ExcelCreate & distribute SAP shipping documentsFiling, faxing & other general office dutiesSupport other Logistics roles as needed

 

 

Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or equivalentAbility to work off shift hours ( afternoon shift)Computer skills preferred- Microsoft Office- specifically Excel & WordEnglish language ability (both written and spoken) is required. Excellent organizational skillsStrong communication skills

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Bachelor DegreeLogistics, Supply Chain experienceProficiency with ERP software (SAP preferred)
