EFI is looking for a Logistics/Shipping Specialist to join our Inkjet Solutions Business Unit in our Ypsilanti, MI office.  

Job Description:

The Logistics/Shipping Specialist is responsible for executing load assignments to meet customer requirements for on-time, safe, damage-free delivery of freight, in a cost-effective and timely manner.  Will primarily be generating Shipping Paperwork for FedEx / UPS, LTL (Less Than Truckload), Domestic, and International Freight.

Main duties and responsibilities

·         Work Closely with the Shipping Office Team to provide accurate daily shipments in a fluid and steady paced environment.

·         Prepare BOL, special labeling, export and import documents as required.

·         Coordinate and consolidate shipments for RMAs, and customer-based orders.

·         Keep up on certifications and classes for DOT, IATA, and IMO regulations (can train).

·         Ability to maintain daily schedules and update shipping requirement reports.

·         File AES documentation with Government and Related Customs Paperwork for International Shipments.

Job Requirements:
 

·         3 years administrative and or customer service experience preferred.

·         The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and accuracy skills.

·         Be self-motivated, able to work independently, and manage time effectively.

·         Ability to compile and analyze data, trends, and reports.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Outlook

·         Experience with SAP, Agile, and Salesforce.com is a plus

·         Able to work overtime when required but works on a team that is flexible and has staggered staff to cover the General Shipping Hours of 7AM to 6PM. Some schedules 7AM to 3:30PM / 8AM – 4:30PM / 9AM – 5:30PM…so there is flexibility on the team.
