re:Cycle Reverse Logistics is looking for a Logistics Specialist & Planner for its Reverse Logistics operation based in Greencastle, PA. Our mission is to manage and scale information technology asset disposition (ITAD) services for used electronics and electronic equipment (UEEE) through secure and environmentally sustainable practices supporting asset recovery, reuse, recycling, and other circular economy initiatives.

The Logistics & Planning Technician is an individual contributor (IC) role that will plan and schedule daily and weekly Logistics and Production schedules for a re:Cycle Reverse Logistics Facility. This role will work closely with salaried leadership to ensure proper staffing for the daily production schedule, will communicate Inbound and Outbound truck schedules, and demonstrate an ability to use data and reports to create achievable production schedules while maintaining SLAs.

As the Logistics & Planning Technician, you may be the primary point of contact for internal customers such as Hardware Engineering, Logistics, Data Center Operations; as well as external customers – Hardware Vendors, Contractors, and Service Providers

The role requires a strong technical aptitude with data center hardware to develop new and iterate on existing processes and workflows, all while meeting and exceeding re:Cycle Reverse Logistics safety and security requirements and creating an engaging work environment for the team.



Key job responsibilities
• Work and meet SLA’s against assigned targets.
• First touch point for hardware assessment.
• Understanding of server and network based IT equipment.
• Work with cross-functional teams on a regular basis to complete work activities.
• Adhere to security and safety best practices similar to data center environment.
• Participate in team meetings for metric analysis and daily/weekly goals achievement.
• Identify and help create documentation for use globally.
• Identify and help create process improvements relevant to planning & inventory control, for both local and global environment.
• Interact with third party vendors & contractors.
• Contribute to the development of other team members.
