Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Credentialed Nurse to identify and treat health disorders among students and provides instruction in the maintenance of good health and disease prevention. The School Credentialed Nurse evaluates the physical conditions of students and refers students to appropriate resources as needed.

Responsibilities: Conducts immunization programs Assesses case manager health needs Assesses and evaluates the health & developmental status of pupils Performs health counseling to include:  crisis intervention, drug and alcohol addiction, etc. Interprets health and developmental assessments Designs and implements individual student health maintenance plans Refers the pupil, parent, & guardian to community resources Maintains communication to promote needed treatments Interprets medical and nursing findings Consults with, conducts in-service training for, and serves as a resource person Develops and implements the health education curriculum Participates in implementing health instruction curriculum Counsels & assists pupils & parents in health-related adjustments Teaches health-related subjects under the supervision of a classroom teacher Performs other duties as assigned/necessary – Classroom LPN – LPN/LVN  – ASAP start with potential for extension  – Schedule: M-F 7:45am – 2:45pm – 32 hours per week *Please note that this pay range represents a good faith estimate of the compensation that will be offered for this position based on the circumstances. The actual pay offered to a successful candidate will take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and other variable factors.
