Job Description:  HOLT Power Systems Division is seeking a Night Shift Machinist 3 to work in San Antonio, TX from 3:00 pm to Midnight. 

Duties include:

Tearing down, cleaning, inspecting, and assembling cylinder heads on diesel and natural gas engines. Assist other machinists with repair tasks on diesel and natural gas engines. Take out broken bolts from diesel and natural gas engine components. Clean the shop area. Perform other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:

Ability to perform basic repairs correctly in the machine shop environment. At least 2 years of basic diesel engine or diesel components repair skills. Experience with polishing crankshafts & camshafts Must be willing to work overtime when needed. Ability to read a micrometer. Ability to learn multiple machine shop operations Must have own hand tools. Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level. Ability to work with limited supervision. Ability to lift 50 pounds about 24 times a day. Must have a valid driver's license. Need to obtain a forklift certification within 30 days of employment. High School Diploma or GED is highly desired.
