"TRS is looking for a MACHINIST with Offshore Vessel experience to join our International Client's JSD 6000 Vessel project team based WORLDWIDE."

JOB DESCRIPTION: Execute work tasks by machining as directed by 2nd Engineer, Vessel Equipment Engineer and Welder Foreman. Operate machining tools such as lathes, milling machines, drilling tools, to produce custom objects from steel pieces, according to specified tolerances. Where available, operate computer numerical control machining according to his/her own capabilities. Execute repairs with regard to mechanical equipment used in the machine shops. Maintain a high level of housekeeping in the machine shop.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Accredited Diploma qualification / equivalent technical qualification within related field of experience. Must have minimum 5 years Offshore Machinist experience onboard Vessels. Mechanical drawings assemblies reading and Draftman skill. Advanced Mechanic fitter skills. Various professional and training certificates Work employment certificates BOSIET / H2S (Mandatory) ________________________________________
