What You'll Do as: Machinist
- Operate manual machines such as lathes, mills, and profile machines
- Work from drawings and written instructions
- Compute cutting speeds, feed rates, and dimensions
- Inspect machined work pieces for conformance to specifications
- Perform housekeeping of machine and work area
Work Experience
Preferred 1 year of Manufacturing, Industrial, or Construction experience. Excellent mechanical skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficient in mathBlueprint reading
