We have an outstanding Contract position for a Machinistto join a leading Company located in theBaltimore, MD surrounding area. Job Responsibilities: + Worked in a prototype, development, and production support machine shop, responsible for making one-off, precision details. + Primarily, be responsible for operating 3-axis CNC vertical milling machines, which includes reviewing N/C code, setting up tooling, and performing all machining operations. + Must also be able to operate a manual vertical mill, brake press, bandsaw, and basic shop tools. Basic Hiring Criteria: + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Equivalent of (4) years high school plus (4) years trades training. + Minimum of 5 - 10 years of relevant experience is preferred. + Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings, understand GD&T, and follow manufacturing process plans. + Machine variety of materials - plastics/ composites/ aluminum/ carbon steel/ stainless steel/ titanium/ Inconel. + Review N/C programming code and provide feedback to programmer if modifications are required. + Independently setup tooling and prepare workpiece per provided requirements.
