**Maintenance Mechanic** Currently hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the Chicago, IL area. Hiring immediately. **Job Description** + Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on equipment + Work on machinery including proofers, ovens, mixers, flower systems, high-speed packaging, fillers, metal detectors, labeling machines, and compressors + Responsible for general facilities maintenance + Utilize blueprints and schematics + Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel (majority TIG, training provided) + Use mills and lathes to machine parts + Troubleshoot and repair 3 phase motors + Work with both pneumatic and hydraulic equipment + Experience performing mechanical troubleshooting and repairs + Baseline electrical knowledge (blueprints and schematics) + Experience working up to 480V + Experience wiring up a 3 phase motor + Own tools + 3+ years of maintenance experience + Experience with mechanical and electrical repairs and troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience troubleshooting PLCs + HVAC experience + Boiler experience + Experience with manual mills and lathes to make parts + Former GMP experience + Bilingual + Experience with TIG and MIG welding **Why Work Here?** Join a dedicated maintenance team with opportunities for growth and skill development. The dress code includes steel toe boots, a uniform, ear plugs, hair/beard nets, safety glasses, and bump caps. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
