**Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic** **Job Description** Assist the current maintenance mechanic with daily maintenance tasks and projects. Perform machine maintenance, electrical maintenance, facilities maintenance, and project work. Ensure equipment maintenance to keep production running efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Perform daily preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance as needed. + Conduct preventative maintenance on industrial equipment, including mixing machines, motors, bearings, belts, saws, and conveyors. + Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow all safety regulations. + Provide skilled mechanical support to all areas of production. + Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance service. + Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine downtime. + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. + Manage time and tasks to fulfill all customer orders in a timely manner and enhance production goals. + Participate in facilities maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, minor carpentry, and repairs. **Essential Skills** + Industrial maintenance experience + Experience with 480V 3 Phase Motors + Ability to perform preventative maintenance programs + Mechanical maintenance repair skills + Troubleshooting and repair mechanical maintenance + Ability to perform general facilities maintenance + Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, repair, and troubleshooting + Familiarity with schematics, preventive maintenance, 3 phase, blueprints, industrial maintenance, and machine repair **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2-5 years of mechanic experience **Why Work Here?** Family-owned company offering long-term opportunities for career advancement and financial growth. Work in a hot and dusty building due to fiberboard being cut. Dress code requires work pants, work shirt, boots, etc. Safety glasses will be provided, and you may choose to wear a dust mask or sleeve over your mouth. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
