**Job Title: Maintenance Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for assessing mechanical, technical, and electrical issues throughout the facility. This role requires a motivated, self-directed individual capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced production environment. You will provide the highest level of in-house support while collaborating effectively with both internal and external resources. Your role will involve strict adherence to safety, GMP, and environmental standards, as well as compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify automated production equipment including PLCs, HMIs, Ladder Logic, and Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems.
+ Identify root causes of mechanical issues by observing systems in operation and using precision measuring and electrical testing tools.
+ Provide maintenance support for automation-related issues and collaborate with Automation Technicians/Engineers on equipment repairs and improvements.
+ Troubleshoot and re-wire high-speed automated equipment such as AC motors, VFDs, PLCs, servo motors, and PLC I/O modules.
+ Utilize SAP for documenting corrective and preventive maintenance activities, managing parts, and recording equipment issues.
+ Serve as a high-level technical support resource for complex mechanical, automation, and electrical issues.
+ Redline automation-related programs and documentation, including PLC and HMI programs, and electrical drawings.
+ Assist in developing and championing programs and projects within the plant or department.
+ Adhere to safety and GMP procedures and practices.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3-5 years of experience in industrial or dairy production maintenance.
+ Knowledge of HMI systems, specifically Rockwell Factory Talk View ME/SE or Inductive Automation Ignition.
+ Experience with electrical, mechanical, and PLC maintenance, troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, repair, and preventive maintenance.
+ Proficiency in schematic and blueprint reading, PLC troubleshooting, and working with Allen-Bradley systems.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 3-5 years of electrical, PLC, and instrumentation experience in an industrial setting.
+ Associate's degree, Technical School Certificate, or Military training in Electrical or Electronics Systems, Industrial Controls, or Manufacturing/Mechanical Systems.
+ Broad knowledge of automation and electrical devices and equipment.
+ Intermediate knowledge of personal computers and Windows operating systems.
+ Ability to use electrical diagrams, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams.
+ Ability to train and transfer knowledge to others.
+ Strong documentation skills and time management abilities.

This is a Permanent position based out of New Berlin, New York.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
