JOB SUMMARY:

Work associated with this position requires performing general maintenance of stores. Aid in the construction of new stores or remodels, including store décor, placement of equipment in all departments, etc. Assist in resolving maintenance issues in a cost-effective manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Maintain checkout lanesMaintenance of all store locksMaintenance of misting systemsGeneral maintenance of buildingsAssist in setting and installing some store equipmentOther duties as requiredResponsible for attending on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job dutiesEnsure all aspects of company policy and procedures in regard to good business and department practices are followed.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Working knowledge of electricity, HVAC, plumbing and carpentryAssist other maintenance personnel as neededOther tasks as assigned by the Senior Construction Manager

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduateExperience in the electrical, construction, and/or maintenance fieldsAbility to assign work, recognize work related needs and make recommendations to pursue their successful conclusionAbility to follow instructionsMust be professional, organized, and dependableExcellent oral and written communication skills; with the ability to communicate with all levels throughout the companySelf-sufficient and able to work with minimal direct supervisionMust possess a valid, unrestricted driver’s license; frequent travel required.Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basisAbility to attend on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job duties
