Stryten Energy, a new company name with a long history in the Niagara Falls, NY area, manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.

 

A Maintenance Technician is responsible to maintain all facility equipment and machinery in safe and efficiency operating order utilizing electrical, hydraulic, welding, pneumatic and mechanical skills. Performs other related tasks as required. Additionally follows all safety rules, wears all required personal protective equipment and keeps work areas clean.

 

This opportunity is Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30pm, must be available for overtime including weekend.

 

The pay rate for this position is $32.11/hour

Responsibilities Embraces and follows the work and safety rules and wears all required personal protective equipment.Troubleshoots electrical problems from printsTroubleshoots from Mechanical & Hydraulic printsTroubleshoots PLC and repairInstalls new wiring, updates old machines and building wiringAll of the above performed with an eye to maintaining and improving product quality and personnel safetyHelps production Process Technicians when a mold change is required which includes pulling, installing and hooking up of the mold to the injection molding press.The above list of responsibilities describes normal work but the Supervisor may assign this person to duties not listed when production requirements dictate or when there is not enough work in the regular classification to fill out the workday. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent.General verbal, written and math skills.Demonstrated proficiency in the following areas:Mechanical MaintenanceElectrical MaintenanceHydraulicPneumaticWeldingSuccessfully complete a Forklift Driver Training Program.Successfully complete a Lockout/Tagout Training Program.Must be self-motivated.Able to lift 50 lbs. frequently.Able to climb and work at heights.
