Our Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance tasks associated with the care of cemetery grounds and facilities. This position will work under direct supervision, individually, or with a team. Duties include grounds maintenance functions such as working with hand tools and equipment operation. 

 

What You'll Be Doing

General grounds clean-up and trash disposal.  Clean and maintain storm drains.  Repair lawn damage.  Mow section and garden lawns.  Trim memorial tablets.  Replant landscapes.  Apply landscape chemicals such as fertilizers, wetting agents, herbicides.  Assist client families and other guests with grounds maintenance requests.  Operate specialized equipment to move materials.  Assist in completing interments.  Assist in set-up and clean-up before and after special events.  Install tents for funeral services.
