Major Case SIU Investigator

We have an exciting opportunity to join the SIU team as an Internal Major Case SIU Investigator! Candidate will report to the Lakeland or Tuscon office. As an Internal Major Case SIU Investigator, you will investigate large-scale and highly organized major cases involving large numbers of claims that involve suspected fraud or other suspicious activities against the Company. Responsibilities include analyzing large numbers of claims to identify suspicious patterns, interviewing witnesses and subjects, and conducting background and database inquiries.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in the Florida Fee Schedule, CPT codes and the ability to interpret medical reports. Position includes conducting Examinations Under Oath. Candidate must be willing to testify in court and at arbitration hearings when needed. Proficiency in Excel strongly preferred.

Job Requirements:

​Investigate all aspects of insurance fraud;Conduct complex investigations of large-scale and organized entities;Analyze large numbers of claims to identify suspicious patterns;Conduct background investigations and database inquiries;Prepare complex investigative reports, presentation of cases to claims;Manage case through litigation


 

Annual Salary

$28.79 - $48.64

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
