Under direct supervision of the Breast Imaging Manager, and Medical Director, Breast Imaging technologist will produce diagnostic images of the breast utilizing a variety of mammography and DEXA equipment. Breast Imaging technologist are expected to possess the skills to perform digital mammography, have the knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of duties assigned to the position; Graduate of a Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American Medical Association; Mammography license is required. Duties include patient education prior to the examination; preparation of needed supplies and equipment set up; assist in performing sterile technique procedures as required; follow established quality assurance procedures; maintain patient dignity and confidentiality; assist Radiologist as needed; perform related duties as requested. Position will float between UCLA Heath Breast Imaging Centers and participate in rotating shifts as needed. Salary range: $46.87-$61.80 Hourly
