Bonadio University is a team of Learning and Development (L&D) professionals entrusted with growing and developing employees at all levels at The Bonadio Group. This newly created opportunity focuses on developing and delivering training to The Bonadio Group’s Tax and Small Business Advisory (SBA) service lines.

Responsibilities Work in the Tax and/or SBA Service Line and continue to manage clients and work on engagements.Work in partnership with the VP of Learning and Organizational Development, Sr. Manager, Learning and Development, and Tax/SBA leaders, including Tax Technical Director, to create annual tax training strategy through detailed needs analysis.Update and create new curriculum for the Tax and/or SBA Service Lines.Explore the use of new tools and technology to provide a better learning experience for our professionals (simulations, games, other technology).Deliver in-person training, and coordinate other identified trainers, across office locations and virtually by using online tools. Trainings include the following:Serve as the primary Tax/SBA level training instructor.Deliver new hire and intern trainings during the year.Facilitate ad hoc lunch and learn/roundtable sessions on relevant Tax topics.Attend tax conferences to understand tax hot topics that need to be reinforced through learning.Provide education on tax technical trainings and explore ways to better integrate training between Tax and SBA.Conduct annual check-ins with first and second-year staff, in conjunction with PROMISE teams, within Tax and SBA to support them in their learning, identify growth/development areas, and design/deliver opportunities accordingly based on needs.Partner with other Tax professionals on the ongoing development of the Tax Resource Library and recommendations for additional content.Make recommendations for additional training opportunities based on tax policy changes.Design, develop and deliver training on additional topics as necessary. Qualifications

Required:

A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or related disciipline A minimum of six years of tax experienceCPA license Proven presenter with an understanding of adult learning theory and how to apply in a practical settingProven experience in creating and delivering tax training programs with positive feedback

The salary for this position is between $80,000 and $100,000 commensurate with experience

 

Hours of Operation

Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.Our summer hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. We pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, there may be times when additional work hours will be required
