Manager Accounts Receivable

Job Overview:  

As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager, you’ll be responsible for performing daily tasks related to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations of the Accounts Receivable Department and our clients.  

 

Your Responsibilities:  

Oversees all AR operations. Establish and maintain A/R operating procedures and processes and effectively communicate to staff. Aligns resources to work assignments and processes to meet business requirements.  Works closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide mutually beneficial solutions.  Work effectively as a critical link in recognizing and collecting potential lost revenue via account auditing. Leads process improvement to maximize productivity and minimize re-work. Creatively solves problems, working collaboratively, in a positive manner. Ensures effective and efficient management reporting, on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis, covering such areas as A/R Aging. Communicates and coordinates accounting policies, practices, and procedures with department and company managers and officials, clients and customers. Ensure company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to A/R. Other duties as required. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions for the role 

 

Skills & Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Business or related field from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years Accounts Receivable experience Three (3) years supervisory experience. Process orientation, analytical thinking ability, and problem solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have a strong work ethic and be detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Demonstrated knowledge of computer systems including Microsoft Office Word, Excel. Ability to work well under pressure and to work within short deadlines. Proven critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgment and decision making ability. Ability to work independently and be self driven, with ability to identify, plan and prioritize business opportunities

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000
