Manager of Facilities

Butterfly Effects is hiring a Manager of ABA Center Facilities to lead the operational performance and physical upkeep of our ABA therapy centers across the country. This role ensures our spaces remain safe, efficient, compliant, and supportive of the life-changing services delivered within them.\n

This position is located on site at our Deerfield Beach, Florida and will require national travel as needed.\n

What Would You Be Doing?\n

Reporting to the Director of Real Estate, the Manager of ABA Center Facilities will oversee the long-term operations and management of our national portfolio of therapy centers. Your focus will be on maintaining facility standards, coordinating repairs and maintenance, and ensuring our sites consistently meet regulatory, safety, and clinical needs. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure our centers continue to run smoothly after they open.\n\nOwn the day-to-day and long-term operations of all ABA center facilities across the organization\nDevelop and implement facility management systems and processes to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness\nCoordinate routine maintenance, emergency repairs, vendor services, and safety inspections\nMonitor facilities to ensure compliance with local codes, ADA standards, licensing regulations, and internal quality benchmarks\nMaintain strong working relationships with on-site staff, vendors, and regional managers to proactively address facility issues\nTrack facility work orders, vendor performance, and operational KPIs using centralized systems\nManage facility-related budgets, maintenance contracts, and capital improvement plans\nCollaborate with Clinical, Operations, and IT teams to support space functionality as needs evolve\nProvide facility-related input to the Director of Real Estate Development on space performance, layout concerns, and post-occupancy trends\nSupport sustainability, efficiency, and safety initiatives across the facility network\n\n

What Do You Bring to the Role?\n\n5+ years of experience managing multi-site, multi-state, facilities operations, preferably in healthcare, education, or service industries\nStrong understanding of safety codes, licensing standards, ADA compliance, and vendor management\nExceptional organizational and problem-solving skills\nExperience managing preventative maintenance programs and service contracts\nAbility to build relationships across internal teams and external partners\nComfort using facility management tools and performance tracking systems\nWillingness to travel as needed to support center operations\nA mission-driven mindset and commitment to creating quality environments for families and staff\n\n
